Job Overview
We are seeking a strategic and highly organized Human Resources Manager to lead our People and Culture department in Bor. This role is critical to our success, as you will be responsible for managing the entire employee lifecycle, from talent acquisition and onboarding to performance management and organizational development. The successful candidate will act as a strategic partner to the leadership team, ensuring that our HR practices align with both local labor laws and international corporate standards. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business objectives of the firm.
- Manage the recruitment and selection process to attract top-tier talent for various professional service roles.
- Oversee payroll administration and ensure compliance with South Sudanese labor regulations and tax laws.
- Lead performance management initiatives, including annual reviews and professional development planning.
- Provide expert guidance to management on employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary procedures.
- Manage compensation and benefits programs to ensure market competitiveness and internal equity.
- Oversee training and development programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of the workforce.
Required Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) and data analytics.
- Deep understanding of South Sudanese Labor Law and regional employment regulations.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills in English and local languages.
- Strong strategic thinking and the ability to translate business needs into HR action plans.
- Proven ability to manage complex employee relations issues with discretion and professionalism.
Education
A Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration (MBA), or a related field is mandatory. Professional certification such as SHRM-CP or CIPD is highly preferred to ensure international standards of practice.
Experience
Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 to 7 years of progressive experience in human resources management, preferably within a professional services or multinational corporate environment. Proven experience in managing HR operations in East Africa is a significant advantage.
Salary
The monthly salary for this position ranges from 850,000 SSP to 1,500,000 SSP, depending on the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and performance during the interview process.
