Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of aerospace component manufacturing projects from concept to delivery.
  • Develop and maintain detailed work instructions, process maps, and standard operating procedures in line with Airbus quality standards.
  • Coordinate with design engineering, supply chain, and quality assurance teams to resolve technical issues and ensure seamless production flow.
  • Implement lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma tools, and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and increase productivity.
  • Conduct root‑cause analysis of production defects, propose corrective actions, and verify effectiveness through rigorous testing.
  • Manage tooling and equipment qualification, calibration, and maintenance schedules to guarantee optimal performance.
  • Ensure compliance with international aerospace regulations, including AS9100, ISO 9001, and local safety requirements.
  • Prepare technical reports, production dashboards, and performance metrics for senior management review.
  • Mentor junior engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and professional development.
  • Support the integration of new materials, additive manufacturing techniques, and digital manufacturing technologies.

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of aerospace manufacturing processes such as machining, sheet metal fabrication, composite lay‑up, and assembly.
  • Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks) and manufacturing execution systems (MES).
  • Experience with statistical process control, FMEA, and other quality tools.
  • Excellent problem‑solving abilities and a data‑driven mindset.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment and adapt to evolving project requirements.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a closely related discipline is required. Advanced certifications such as Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt, AS9100 auditor certification, or a Master’s degree are highly desirable and will be considered an asset during the selection process.

Experience

Candidates must have a minimum of five years of hands‑on experience in aerospace manufacturing or a related high‑tech industry.
