The Aerospace Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the production of aerospace components, ensuring compliance with stringent quality standards, and optimizing manufacturing processes to meet Airbus’s world‑class performance criteria. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of aerospace component manufacturing projects from concept to delivery.
• Develop and maintain detailed work instructions, process maps, and standard operating procedures in line with Airbus quality standards.
• Coordinate with design engineering, supply chain, and quality assurance teams to resolve technical issues and ensure seamless production flow.
• Implement lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma tools, and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and increase productivity.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis of production defects, propose corrective actions, and verify effectiveness through rigorous testing.
• Manage tooling and equipment qualification, calibration, and maintenance schedules to guarantee optimal performance.
• Ensure compliance with international aerospace regulations, including AS9100, ISO 9001, and local safety requirements.
• Prepare technical reports, production dashboards, and performance metrics for senior management review.
• Mentor junior engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and professional development.
• Support the integration of new materials, additive manufacturing techniques, and digital manufacturing technologies.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of aerospace manufacturing processes such as machining, sheet metal fabrication, composite lay‑up, and assembly.
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks) and manufacturing execution systems (MES).
• Experience with statistical process control, FMEA, and other quality tools.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and a data‑driven mindset.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment and adapt to evolving project requirements.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a closely related discipline is required. Advanced certifications such as Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt, AS9100 auditor certification, or a Master’s degree are highly desirable and will be considered an asset during the selection process.

Experience

Candidates must have a minimum of five years of hands‑on experience in aerospace manufacturing or a related high‑tech industry. Proven experience in leading cross‑functional projects, implementing process improvements, and ensuring compliance with aerospace standards is essential. Salary
