Job Overview
The Supply Chain Analyst will play a pivotal role in optimizing the end‑to‑end supply chain processes for Coca‑Cola Beverages Africa’s operations in South Sudan. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the analyst will be responsible for data‑driven analysis, demand forecasting, inventory management, and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs. The role involves close collaboration with procurement, production, logistics, and sales teams to ensure seamless coordination across the supply chain network.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze historical sales data and market trends to develop accurate demand forecasts for beverage products across South Sudan.
- Monitor inventory levels at the Renk bottling plant and distribution centers, recommending optimal reorder points and safety stock levels.
- Collaborate with procurement to ensure timely sourcing of raw materials, packaging, and ancillary supplies.
- Coordinate with logistics partners to plan efficient transportation routes, minimizing lead times and freight costs.
- Prepare regular supply chain performance reports, highlighting key metrics such as fill rate, order cycle time, and inventory turnover.
- Identify bottlenecks and propose process improvements using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Support the implementation of ERP and supply chain management software enhancements.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, customs procedures, and Coca‑Cola’s internal standards.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical abilities with proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or similar data visualization tools.
- Experience with demand planning, inventory optimization, and logistics coordination.
- Excellent communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
- Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Problem‑solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related discipline is required. Professional certifications such as APICS CPIM, CSCP, or Six Sigma Green Belt are advantageous.
Experience
The ideal candidate will have 3‑5 years of experience in supply chain analysis, demand forecasting, or inventory management, preferably within the FMCG or beverage industry. Experience working in emerging markets or in South Sudan is a plus.
Salary
The position offers a competitive salary range of SSP 5,000,000 to SSP 8,000,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Performance‑based bonuses and incentives are also part of the compensation package.
