Job Overview
The Senior Renewable Energy Finance Analyst will lead the financial assessment, structuring, and execution of renewable energy projects across South Sudan. Reporting to the Head of Renewable Energy Investments, you will collaborate with project developers, government agencies, and international partners to secure financing, conduct due diligence, and develop robust financial models. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed financial models for solar, wind, and hybrid renewable energy projects.
- Conduct comprehensive due diligence, including market analysis, regulatory review, and risk assessment.
- Structure financing solutions, including debt, equity, and blended finance mechanisms, tailored to project needs.
- Prepare investment memoranda, pitch books, and presentation materials for senior management and investors.
- Negotiate term sheets and financing agreements with lenders, investors, and development partners.
- Monitor project performance post‑financing, ensuring compliance with covenants and reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with legal, technical, and environmental teams to ensure holistic project evaluation.
- Stay abreast of South Sudan energy policies, incentives, and market trends to inform investment decisions.
- Support the development of the bank’s renewable energy financing strategy and pipeline.
Required Skills
- Advanced financial modeling and valuation techniques for renewable energy assets.
- Strong understanding of project finance structures, debt instruments, and equity arrangements.
- Proficiency in financial software such as Excel, VBA, and PowerPoint; familiarity with Bloomberg or similar platforms is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Effective communication and presentation skills for diverse stakeholder audiences.

Education

Experience
Minimum of eight years of experience in renewable energy finance, project finance, or investment banking, with a proven track record of structuring and closing large‑scale renewable projects. Experience working in emerging markets, particularly in Africa, is highly desirable.
Salary
The compensation package ranges from 30,000,000 to 45,000,000 South Sudanese Pounds (SSP) per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The package includes performance‑based bonuses and other incentives.
