Job Overview
The Risk Management Analyst will join KPMG’s Risk Advisory team in Kajo Keji, providing analytical support to clients across the public and private sectors. This role involves assessing financial, operational and strategic risks, developing mitigation strategies, and delivering actionable insights that align with client objectives. The analyst will work closely with senior consultants, contributing to high‑impact projects that drive risk‑aware decision making.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for client portfolios, identifying financial, operational and compliance exposures.
- Develop quantitative risk models using statistical tools and financial data.
- Prepare detailed risk reports, executive summaries and presentation decks for senior stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design risk mitigation strategies and implementation plans.
- Monitor emerging regulatory changes in South Sudan and advise clients on compliance requirements.
- Support audit and assurance engagements by providing risk‑focused insights.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical and quantitative abilities with proficiency in Excel, Power BI or similar tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to interpret complex financial statements and regulatory frameworks.
- Detail‑oriented mindset with strong problem‑solving capabilities.
- Team player who can work independently under tight deadlines.
Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration or a related discipline is required. Professional certifications such as CFA, FRM or CPA are advantageous but not mandatory.
Experience
Applicants should have 3‑5 years of experience in risk analysis, financial advisory, audit, or related fields. Experience within the African market, particularly in emerging economies, is highly valued.
Salary
The annual compensation range is SSP 30,000,000 to SSP 45,000,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Performance‑based bonuses may be awarded.
