Job Overview
The Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Manager will lead the design, implementation, and monitoring of TotalEnergies’ CSR strategy in South Sudan. This role is responsible for aligning CSR initiatives with the company’s business objectives, local community needs, and national development priorities. The manager will collaborate with internal stakeholders, government agencies, NGOs, and community leaders to create programs that drive social impact, environmental protection, and economic empowerment. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive CSR strategy that supports TotalEnergies’ business goals and local development plans.
- Identify and assess community needs through stakeholder engagement, surveys, and impact studies.
- Design and manage CSR projects in areas such as education, health, livelihood, and environmental conservation.
- Coordinate with the Communications team to promote CSR achievements and enhance the company’s reputation.
- Monitor, evaluate, and report on the effectiveness of CSR initiatives using measurable KPIs.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, international standards, and TotalEnergies’ internal policies.
- Prepare annual CSR budgets, track expenditures, and secure funding from internal and external sources.
- Represent TotalEnergies at community forums, industry conferences, and partnership meetings.

- Strong project management and organizational abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging diverse stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in impact assessment and reporting.
- Ability to work cross‑functionally and influence senior leadership.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of local languages is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data visualization tools.
Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Environmental Science, Development Studies, or a related discipline is required. A Master’s degree or professional certifications in CSR, sustainability, or project management are highly desirable.
Experience
Minimum of eight (8) years of progressive experience in corporate social responsibility, sustainability, community development, or related fields, preferably within the energy or utilities sector. Demonstrated success in leading multi‑stakeholder projects in emerging markets is essential.
Salary
The position offers a competitive salary range of SSP 30,000,000 to 45,000,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional performance‑based incentives may be provided.
