Job Overview
The Sustainable Water Resources Manager will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of sustainable water resources management strategies in Raja, South Sudan. This will involve working closely with local communities, government agencies, and other stakeholders to identify and address water-related challenges.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in water resources management, excellent communication and project management skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sustainable water resources management strategies in Raja, South Sudan
- Work closely with local communities, government agencies, and other stakeholders to identify and address water-related challenges
- Conduct water resources assessments and develop recommendations for sustainable water management practices
- Develop and implement water conservation and efficiency programs
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of water resources management programs
Required Skills
- Master’s degree in Water Resources Management or related field
- At least 8 years of experience in water resources management, with a focus on sustainable water resources management
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively with local communities, government agencies, and other stakeholders
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Water Resources Management or related field
Experience
8-12 years of experience in water resources management, with a focus on sustainable water resources management
Salary
SSP 60,000 – 90,000 per annum
