Job Overview
IFC is seeking a Sustainable Supply Chain Analyst to lead the design and implementation of sustainable agribusiness supply chain strategies in Torit, South Sudan. This role will focus on optimizing agricultural production, reducing post-harvest losses, and enhancing market access for smallholder farmers while aligning with global sustainability standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct supply chain audits to identify inefficiencies and sustainability gaps in agribusiness operations.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve traceability, reduce waste, and enhance farmer livelihoods.
- Collaborate with local cooperatives, NGOs, and government agencies to scale sustainable practices.
- Analyze market trends and commodity flows to optimize logistics and distribution networks.
- Monitor and report on supply chain performance using KPIs aligned with UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Required Skills
- Proven experience in supply chain management within agribusiness or related sectors.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Knowledge of sustainable agriculture practices and circular economy principles.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and cross-cultural communication abilities.
- Proficiency in supply chain software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and MS Office Suite.
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Agricultural Economics, Environmental Science, or related field.
- Advanced degree (Master’s) preferred.
Experience
- 3-5 years of professional experience in supply chain analysis, preferably in emerging markets.
- Experience working with smallholder farmers or agricultural cooperatives.
Salary
150,000 – 250,000 SSP monthly, commensurate with experience.
