Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field. Knowledge of South Sudanese transport regulations and infrastructure challenges is an advantage.

Job Overview

The Logistics Coordinator will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient movement of humanitarian aid within South Sudan. This position involves coordinating the transportation of goods, managing inventory, and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate should have excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of those affected by crisis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the transportation of humanitarian aid within South Sudan
  • Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate record-keeping
  • Develop and implement logistics plans to support project implementation
  • Work closely with local partners, government agencies, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth operations
  • Ensure compliance with international humanitarian standards and South Sudanese regulations

Required Skills

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with logistics software and tools
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Bilingual (English/South Sudanese) is preferred
