Job Overview

The Senior Industrial Automation Engineer will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of automated manufacturing systems for Honeywell’s clients in South Sudan and the surrounding region. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end development of PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems for new and existing production lines.
• Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost‑benefit analyses to support automation investment decisions.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and process engineers to ensure seamless system integration.
• Develop and maintain detailed engineering documentation, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and functional specifications.
• Oversee commissioning, testing, and validation activities to guarantee system performance and compliance with international standards.
• Provide technical mentorship and training to junior engineers and field technicians.
• Implement predictive maintenance strategies using IoT sensors and data analytics to minimize downtime.

Required Skills

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, or a closely related discipline is required.
