We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sustainable Water Resources Manager to join our team in Yei, South Sudan. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our water resources management program in the region, including developing and implementing strategies to improve access to safe water and sanitation services.
Job Overview
The Sustainable Water Resources Manager will be responsible for managing our water resources management program in the region, including developing and implementing strategies to improve access to safe water and sanitation services. The successful candidate will work closely with local communities, governments, and other partners to deliver sustainable WASH solutions that improve health, education, and economic opportunities.
The Sustainable Water Resources Manager will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing strategies to improve access to safe water and sanitation services in the region
- Working closely with local communities, governments, and other partners to deliver sustainable WASH solutions
- Managing our water resources management program in the region, including developing and implementing budgets and work plans
- Providing technical assistance and support to local communities and governments to improve their WASH services
- Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of our WASH programs and making recommendations for improvement
Key Responsibilities
The Sustainable Water Resources Manager will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing strategies to improve access to safe water and sanitation services in the region
- Working closely with local communities, governments, and other partners to deliver sustainable WASH solutions
- Managing our water resources management program in the region, including developing and implementing budgets and work plans
- Providing technical assistance and support to local communities and governments to improve their WASH services
- Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of our WASH programs and making recommendations for improvement
Required Skills
The Sustainable Water Resources Manager will need to have:
- At least 8 years of experience in water resources management or a related field
- A Bachelor’s degree in Water Resources Management or a related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work with local communities, governments, and other partners
Education
The Sustainable Water Resources Manager will need to have a Bachelor’s degree in Water Resources Management or a related field.
Experience
The Sustainable Water Resources Manager will need to have at least 8 years of experience in water resources management or a related field.
Salary
The salary for the Sustainable Water Resources Manager will be SSP 50,000 – 80,000 per month.
