We are seeking an experienced Environmental Conservation Specialist to join our team in Maridi, South Sudan. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading conservation efforts, developing and implementing conservation plans, and collaborating with local communities and stakeholders to promote sustainable land use practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement conservation plans to protect and restore natural habitats
  • Collaborate with local communities and stakeholders to promote sustainable land use practices
  • Lead conservation efforts and coordinate with local authorities and NGOs
  • Conduct field assessments and monitoring to evaluate conservation progress
  • Develop and manage budgets and resources for conservation projects

Required Skills

  • Master’s degree in Environmental Science or related field
  • 5-7 years of experience in conservation or a related field
  • Proven track record of leading conservation efforts and developing conservation plans
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
