Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Data Center Operations Manager to join our team in Wau, South Sudan. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management and operation of our data center, ensuring that it runs smoothly and efficiently. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong technical skills, excellent leadership abilities, and a passion for innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the data center, including power, cooling, and networking systems
  • Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of data center equipment and infrastructure
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for data center operations, including disaster recovery and business continuity planning
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of data center operations with other business functions
  • Monitor and analyze data center performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed

Required Skills

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in data center operations, with a strong background in IT infrastructure and management
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale data centers, with a focus on efficiency, reliability, and scalability
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues
  • Proficiency in data center management software and tools, including DCIM and CMDB

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field

Experience

8-12 years of experience in data center operations, with a strong background in IT infrastructure and management

Salary

100,000 – 150,000 SSP per annum
