Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic planning, design, and implementation of UNICEF’s WASH programs in Bor and surrounding areas, ensuring alignment with global standards and national priorities.

Required Skills

  • Strong project management skills, including planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting, preferably in humanitarian or development contexts.

Education

A Master’s Degree in Public Health, Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Water Resources Management, or a closely related field is required. A Bachelor’s Degree with an additional two years of relevant professional experience may be considered in exceptional circumstances.

Experience

A minimum of 7-10 years of progressively responsible professional experience in the planning, implementation, and management of WASH programs, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role. Significant experience working in humanitarian or development contexts, particularly in conflict-affected or fragile states, is highly desirable.
