Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sustainable Agriculture Specialist to join our team in Kapoeta, South Sudan.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to farmers and other stakeholders in the development and implementation of sustainable agriculture practices.
The position will involve working closely with local communities, government agencies, and other stakeholders to promote the adoption of sustainable agriculture practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to farmers and other stakeholders in the development and implementation of sustainable agriculture practices.
- Work closely with local communities, government agencies, and other stakeholders to promote the adoption of sustainable agriculture practices.
- Develop and implement training programs for farmers and other stakeholders on sustainable agriculture practices.
- Conduct research and analysis on sustainable agriculture practices and their impact on farmers and the environment.
- Develop and implement strategies to promote the adoption of sustainable agriculture practices among farmers and other stakeholders.
Required Skills
- Master’s degree in Agriculture or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in sustainable agriculture or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to travel frequently to rural areas.
