Job Overview

Sunna Energy is seeking a highly motivated Renewable Energy Systems Analyst to join its Wau team. This role involves designing, optimizing, and monitoring renewable energy systems to ensure efficiency and sustainability. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct technical analysis of solar and wind energy systems for feasibility and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with engineers to design scalable renewable energy solutions for rural and urban areas.
• Monitor system performance using data analytics tools and generate actionable reports.
• Engage with local communities to assess energy needs and provide technical guidance.
• Ensure compliance with national and international clean energy standards.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in energy modeling software (e.g., HOMER, PVsyst).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
• Knowledge of South Sudan’s energy sector regulations and challenges.
• Ability to work in remote and resource-constrained environments.

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical) or Environmental Science.
• Advanced degree in Renewable Energy or related field is an advantage.

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in renewable energy systems analysis or project management.
• Proven track record in clean energy projects in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Salary

SSP 1,200,000 – 1,800,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
