Job Overview

IBM South Sudan seeks a Blockchain Technology Specialist to design, develop, and implement blockchain-based solutions for clients in South Sudan. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to create scalable, secure, and interoperable blockchain systems tailored to financial services, supply chain, and public sector applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop blockchain solutions using platforms like Hyperledger, Ethereum, and IBM Blockchain.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and technical assessments for blockchain integration projects.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and optimize blockchain architecture.
  • Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and data privacy regulations.
  • Provide technical support and training to clients and internal teams.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in blockchain development frameworks and smart contract programming (Solidity, Python).
  • Experience with decentralized application (DApp) development and API integration.
  • Strong understanding of cryptographic protocols and consensus mechanisms.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Fluency in English and knowledge of local languages (e.g., Dinka, Nuer) is an advantage.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
