Job Overview

The Agricultural Data Scientist will lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced analytics models that transform raw agricultural data into actionable insights for farmers, agronomists, and business partners across South Sudan. Key Responsibilities

Required Skills

Education

A Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Agricultural Engineering, Agronomy, or a closely related discipline is required. Candidates with additional certifications in machine learning, GIS, or agribusiness analytics will be given preference.

Experience

Applicants must have a minimum of five years of professional experience in data science, analytics, or research, with at least two years focused on agricultural applications. Experience working in emerging markets, particularly in Sub‑Saharan Africa, is highly valued.

Salary

The compensation package ranges from 2,500,000 to 3,500,000 South Sudanese Pounds (SSP) per year, commensurate with experience and expertise. The package includes performance‑based bonuses and benefits aligned with Cargill’s global standards.
