Job Overview
The Senior Urban Planning Consultant will play a pivotal role in designing the future of urban landscapes in Western Bahr el Ghazal. This role involves leading large-scale spatial planning projects, conducting feasibility studies, and advising government and private stakeholders on sustainable land use. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of comprehensive urban master plans for emerging municipalities.
- Conduct detailed spatial analysis and demographic modeling to predict future infrastructure needs.
- Collaborate with government agencies to ensure compliance with national land use policies.
- Advise on sustainable drainage, transport networks, and green space integration.
- Manage multidisciplinary teams of engineers, architects, and environmental scientists.
- Prepare technical reports and presentations for high-level stakeholders and international donors.
Required Skills
- Advanced proficiency in GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and AutoCAD.

Education

Experience
Candidates must possess a minimum of 7 years of professional experience in urban planning or large-scale infrastructure advisory. Proven experience working in developing economies or post-conflict reconstruction environments is highly desirable. Salary
