Job Overview
The Senior Smart Grid Solutions Architect will lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced smart grid architectures for utility partners in South Sudan and neighboring markets. Key Responsibilities
- Architect end‑to‑end smart grid solutions, including distribution automation, advanced metering infrastructure, and energy management systems.
- Collaborate with utility partners to gather requirements, conduct feasibility studies, and develop detailed technical designs.
- Lead system integration efforts, ensuring seamless interoperability between hardware, software, and communication protocols.
- Drive the implementation of AI‑based analytics for load forecasting, fault detection, and asset optimization.
- Ensure compliance with IEC, IEEE, and local regulatory standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to multidisciplinary teams.
- Develop comprehensive documentation, including architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and project reports.

Experience
Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in smart grid design, implementation, or related fields, with at least three (3) years in a senior or lead architect role. Proven track record of delivering large‑scale energy projects in emerging markets is preferred.
Salary
The compensation package ranges from 30,000,000 to 45,000,000 South Sudanese Pounds (SSP) per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The package includes performance‑based bonuses and comprehensive benefits.
