Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Petroleum Drilling Engineer to lead our complex drilling operations in the Malakal region. Key Responsibilities
- Design and optimize complex well architectures and drilling programs for deep-water and onshore assets.
- Supervise drilling operations to ensure adherence to safety protocols and technical specifications.
- Manage drilling fluid programs and casing design to mitigate geological risks.
- Coordinate with sub-surface teams to integrate reservoir data into drilling plans.
- Oversee equipment selection and vendor management for drilling rigs and tools.
- Monitor real-time drilling data to prevent non-productive time (NPT) and ensure wellbore stability.

Education

Experience
A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in drilling engineering within the oil and gas sector is required. Proven experience in managing large-scale drilling projects in complex geological settings is highly preferred. Candidates should have a track record of successful well completions and troubleshooting in high-pressure/high-temperature (HPHT) environments.
Salary
The monthly salary for this position ranges from 4,500,000 SSP to 7,200,000 SSP, depending on experience and technical expertise. This is a highly competitive package within the local market.
