Job Overview

The Logistics Operations Manager will lead the planning, execution, and optimization of freight movements, warehousing, and distribution activities for DHL’s operations in South Sudan. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily logistics operations, including inbound and outbound freight handling, customs clearance, and last‑mile delivery.
• Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service quality.
• Manage relationships with carriers, suppliers, and local authorities to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate reports for senior management.
• Lead a team of logistics coordinators, providing coaching, performance feedback, and career development.
• Ensure compliance with safety, security, and regulatory requirements in South Sudan.
• Coordinate with sales and customer service teams to address client needs and resolve issues promptly.
