Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and charismatic Front Office Manager to lead our reception and concierge teams in Wau. This role is critical to the guest experience, serving as the first point of contact for all visitors. The successful candidate will oversee daily front desk operations, manage guest relations, and ensure that all check-in and check-out procedures are executed flawlessly. Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and train front desk staff to ensure consistent delivery of premium service.
- Manage room inventory and coordinate with the housekeeping department to ensure room readiness.
- Resolve guest complaints and issues promptly and professionally to maintain high satisfaction levels.
- Oversee the accuracy of guest billing and financial transactions at the front desk.
- Implement local and international hospitality protocols to ensure guest safety and security.
- Monitor front office performance metrics and prepare monthly operational reports.
Required Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Property Management Systems (PMS).
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong leadership and conflict resolution abilities.
- Deep understanding of hospitality revenue management and occupancy optimization.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Administration, or a related field is mandatory. Professional certifications in hotel management are highly desirable.
Experience
Candidates must possess a minimum of five years of experience in hotel operations, with at least two years in a supervisory or management role within a four or five-star establishment. Proven experience in the East African hospitality market is a significant advantage.
Salary
The monthly salary for this position ranges from 1,200,000 SSP to 1,800,000 SSP, depending on experience and performance metrics. This is a competitive package designed to attract top-tier talent looking for employment in South Sudan.
