Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Geothermal Energy Engineer to join our team in Torit, South Sudan. As a Geothermal Energy Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing geothermal energy projects. Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop geothermal energy projects, including resource assessment, well drilling, and power plant design
  • Conduct site investigations, gather data, and analyze results to determine geothermal resource potential
  • Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including geologists, engineers, and technicians
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
  • 5-10 years of experience in geothermal energy or a related field
  • Strong understanding of geothermal energy principles, including resource assessment and power plant design
  • Excellent project management, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and other relevant software

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field, such as Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Geology.

Experience

5-10 years of experience in geothermal energy or a related field, including experience with project design, development, and implementation.

Salary

The salary range for this position is SSP 600,000 – 1,200,000 per month, depending on experience.
