Job Overview

Trimble Inc. seeks a Geospatial Data Analyst to support urban development projects in Lakang, South Sudan. This role will leverage geospatial tools to analyze land use patterns, monitor infrastructure projects, and support evidence-based planning for sustainable cities. Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, process, and analyze geospatial data using GIS software (ArcGIS, QGIS).
  • Create detailed maps and visualizations for urban planning and infrastructure projects.
  • Collaborate with local stakeholders to identify land use challenges and opportunities.
  • Integrate remote sensing data for environmental and urban monitoring.
  • Prepare technical reports and presentations for clients and project teams.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in GIS software (ArcGIS, QGIS) and remote sensing tools.
  • Experience with geospatial data analysis and mapping for urban development.
  • Strong understanding of South Sudan’s urban planning frameworks.

Education

Salary

150,000 – 200,000 SSP monthly, commensurate with experience.
