The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting geophysical data to support the exploration and development of South Sudan’s natural resources. This will involve working with a range of stakeholders, including government officials, industry partners, and local communities.
Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Geophysics Data Analyst to join our team in Yambio, South Sudan. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting geophysical data to support the exploration and development of South Sudan’s natural resources.
The successful candidate will have a Master’s degree in Geophysics or a related field, and at least 5 years of experience in a similar role. They will also have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret geophysical data to support the exploration and development of South Sudan’s natural resources
- Work with a range of stakeholders, including government officials, industry partners, and local communities
- Develop and implement data management systems to support the analysis and interpretation of geophysical data
- Provide high-quality reports and presentations to stakeholders
Required Skills
- Master’s degree in Geophysics or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
Education
The successful candidate will have a Master’s degree in Geophysics or a related field from a recognized university.
Experience
The successful candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong track record of analyzing and interpreting geophysical data.
Salary
The successful candidate will be offered a salary of SSP 150,000 – 200,000 per annum, depending on experience.
