Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Aviation Safety Inspector to join our team in Juba, South Sudan. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting safety inspections, monitoring compliance with safety regulations, and providing technical guidance to airlines and aviation stakeholders. This is a unique opportunity to work with a leading international organization in the aviation industry and contribute to ensuring the safety of air travel in South Sudan.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct safety inspections of airlines, airports, and other aviation stakeholders to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
  • Monitor and analyze safety data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to airlines, airports, and other aviation stakeholders on safety-related matters.
  • Develop and implement safety programs and initiatives to enhance safety performance.
  • Collaborate with regulatory authorities, airlines, and other stakeholders to promote safety and compliance.

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of aviation safety regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in English and French is an advantage.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Aviation, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

At least 5 years of experience in aviation safety inspection, regulatory compliance, or a related field.

Salary

The salary range for this position is SSP 50,000 – 80,000 per month.
