Job Overview
The Agri-Tech Innovation Specialist will lead the development and implementation of digital tools to enhance agricultural productivity in South Sudan. This role bridges advanced geospatial analytics with on-the-ground farming practices, supporting smallholder farmers and agribusinesses in adopting climate-smart technologies. The position is based in Lankien, a key agricultural hub in Eastern South Sudan.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and deploy agri-tech solutions using satellite imagery, IoT sensors, and machine learning algorithms
- Collaborate with local farming cooperatives to implement precision agriculture techniques
- Develop crop health monitoring systems using remote sensing data
- Conduct training workshops for farmers on digital farming tools
- Partner with agricultural research institutions to validate new technologies
- Monitor and report on climate patterns affecting crop cycles
Required Skills
- Expertise in agricultural technology platforms and GIS software
- Strong analytical skills in data interpretation and modeling
- Experience with IoT-based farming solutions
- Fluency in local languages (Dinka, Nuer) preferred

Salary
