Job Overview
The Solar Power Plant Operations Manager will lead the day‑to‑day management of Siemens Energy’s flagship solar facility in Bor. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of solar plant operations, including generation monitoring, performance analysis, and outage management.
- Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs to maximize equipment availability.
- Lead a team of engineers, technicians, and support staff, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with South Sudanese energy regulations, environmental standards, and Siemens Energy’s internal policies.
- Collaborate with the grid operator to coordinate power dispatch and resolve transmission issues.
- Prepare and present operational reports, KPI dashboards, and financial performance summaries to senior management.
- Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service level agreements for equipment and spare parts.
- Drive initiatives for performance optimization, including data‑driven analytics and technology upgrades.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of photovoltaic (PV) systems, inverter technology, and grid integration.
- Proficiency in SCADA, PV monitoring software, and data analytics tools.

Education
