We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our manufacturing facility in Juba. This role is critical to ensuring that all production processes and finished goods adhere to the strictest regulatory and internal quality standards. The successful candidate will oversee quality control protocols, manage laboratory testing, and implement continuous improvement methodologies to optimize production efficiency. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive quality assurance protocols for all manufacturing lines.
- Conduct regular audits of raw materials and finished products to ensure compliance with international standards.
- Lead root cause analysis for any deviations in product quality and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
- Manage and mentor a team of quality technicians and laboratory staff.
- Collaborate with the production department to optimize manufacturing processes and reduce waste.
- Ensure all documentation and reporting meet regulatory requirements for the South Sudanese market.
Required Skills
- Advanced knowledge of ISO 9001 and other international quality management systems.
- Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis tools.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills in English for technical reporting.
Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field is mandatory. Professional certification in Quality Management (such as Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing) is highly preferred.
Experience
Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in a quality assurance or quality control role within a large-scale manufacturing environment. Proven experience in managing complex production processes and leading technical teams is essential for success in this role.
Salary
