Job Overview

The Education Technology Program Manager will lead the design, implementation, and scaling of digital learning initiatives across South Sudan. Reporting to the Country Director, the role will collaborate with the global EdTech team, local ministries of education, NGOs, and private sector partners to develop curriculum‑aligned digital tools, teacher training programs, and monitoring systems. The manager will be responsible for securing funding, managing budgets, and ensuring that all interventions align with World Vision’s mission and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive EdTech strategy that supports World Vision’s education objectives in South Sudan.
• Lead the design and rollout of digital learning platforms, mobile applications, and offline content solutions tailored to local contexts.
• Coordinate with the Ministry of Education, school administrators, and community leaders to ensure alignment with national curricula and policies.
• Manage multi‑year project budgets, grant proposals, and donor reporting to secure and sustain funding.
• Oversee monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) frameworks to assess impact, collect data, and inform continuous improvement.
• Facilitate capacity‑building workshops for teachers, school staff, and local partners on effective use of technology in classrooms.
• Collaborate with World Vision’s global EdTech experts to adapt best practices and innovative solutions for the South Sudanese context.
• Ensure compliance with World Vision’s safeguarding, child protection, and gender equity standards throughout all program activities.

Required Skills

• Strong project management expertise with a proven track record of delivering large‑scale education technology programs.
• Deep understanding of South Sudan’s education system, cultural dynamics, and infrastructure challenges.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and partnership building skills, including experience working with government agencies and NGOs.
• Proficiency in budgeting, financial reporting, and donor compliance.
• Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data, generate insights, and produce evidence‑based recommendations.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic or local languages (e.g., Juba Arabic, Dinka) is an advantage.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities, both written and verbal.
• Commitment to child‑centered development, gender equity, and inclusive education.

Education

A Master’s degree in Education, Development Studies, International Development, Information Technology, or a related discipline is required. Candidates with additional certifications in project management (e.g., PMP) or educational technology (e.g., ISTE) are highly regarded.

Experience

Minimum eight (8) years of professional experience in education program management, with at least three (3) years focused on integrating technology into learning environments. Experience working in humanitarian or development contexts, particularly in South Sudan or neighboring countries, is essential.

Salary

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary ranging from 30,000,000 to 45,000,000 South Sudanese Pounds (SSP) per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional performance‑based incentives may be offered.
