Job Overview
The Senior Supply Chain Analyst will play a pivotal role in optimizing Amazon’s end‑to‑end logistics operations in South Sudan. Key Responsibilities
- Analyze inbound and outbound logistics data to identify bottleneities and recommend actionable improvements.
- Develop and maintain forecasting models to support inventory planning and demand fulfillment.
- Coordinate with suppliers, transport providers, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and compliance with local regulations.
- Implement cost‑reduction initiatives while maintaining service level agreements (SLAs) and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order cycle time, fill rate, and transportation cost per unit.
- Lead continuous improvement projects using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior leadership on supply chain performance.
- Support the integration of new technology platforms, including warehouse management systems and real‑time tracking tools.
Required Skills
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Power BI, or Tableau).
- Strong understanding of logistics, inventory management, and transportation planning.
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities and a data‑driven mindset.

- Knowledge of local customs, import/export regulations, and infrastructure challenges in South Sudan is a plus.
Education
A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related discipline is required. Professional certifications such as APICS CPIM, CSCP, or Six Sigma Green Belt are highly desirable.
Experience
Candidates must have 5‑7 years of progressive experience in supply chain analysis, logistics planning, or operations management, preferably within a multinational organization. Experience working in emerging markets or in African logistics environments will be considered an advantage.
Salary
The compensation package ranges from 30,000,000 to 45,000,000 South Sudanese Pounds (SSP) per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The package includes performance‑based bonuses and other incentives aligned with Amazon’s global compensation framework.
