Job Overview

The Senior Supply Chain Analyst will play a critical role in optimizing our manufacturing and distribution workflows in the Wau region. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze historical sales data and market trends to create accurate demand forecasts.
• Monitor inventory levels across multiple warehouses to prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
• Identify inefficiencies in the manufacturing-to-distribution pipeline and propose data-backed solutions.
• Collaborate with the procurement team to optimize raw material lead times and supplier performance.
• Develop and maintain KPIs to track supply chain performance, including order fulfillment and transportation costs.
• Lead continuous improvement projects using Six Sigma or Lean methodologies to reduce operational waste.
• Coordinate with local logistics providers to ensure timely delivery of finished goods to regional hubs.

Required Skills

• Advanced proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
• Strong analytical thinking and the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
• In-depth knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred) and inventory management software.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
• Strong project management capabilities and the ability to lead multi-stakeholder initiatives.

Education

A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related quantitative field is required. Professional certification such as APICS (CPIM or CSCP) is highly desirable and will be considered an advantage during the selection process.

Experience

Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 to 7 years of progressive experience in supply chain analysis, demand planning, or operations management, preferably within the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) or manufacturing sector. Proven experience working in East African markets or complex logistical environments is a significant plus.

Salary

The monthly gross salary for this position ranges from 1,200,000 SSP to 1,800,000 SSP, depending on the candidate’s experience and technical expertise. This package is competitive within the local market for specialized technical roles.
