Job Overview
We are looking for a dedicated Senior Human Rights Officer to lead our monitoring and advocacy efforts in Bor. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive field research to document human rights violations and trends.
- Develop and implement advocacy strategies to influence local and national policy.
- Collaborate with local NGOs, community leaders, and government officials to promote human rights education.
- Prepare detailed reports and briefings for regional and global headquarters.
- Monitor legal developments and their impact on vulnerable populations in the region.
- Provide technical guidance to junior field officers and local partners.

Education
A Master of Laws (LLM) or a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) with significant specialized training in International Human Rights Law is required for this position.
Experience
Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 to 7 years of professional experience in human rights monitoring, legal advocacy, or international law within a conflict-affected or developing context. Proven experience in field-based research and report writing is essential.
Salary
The monthly salary for this position ranges from 1,200,000 SSP to 1,800,000 SSP, depending on the candidate’s expertise and qualifications.
