Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Civil Engineering Site Supervisor to oversee our ongoing construction activities in Bor. This role is critical to the successful delivery of our infrastructure projects, ensuring that all works are executed according to technical specifications, timelines, and safety protocols. The successful candidate will act as the primary point of contact on-site, managing subcontractors, coordinating with engineers, and ensuring that materials and equipment are utilized efficiently. This is a high-impact role that requires a blend of technical expertise and leadership capabilities.
As a key member of our site management team, you will navigate the complexities of large-scale construction sites, ensuring that every phase of the project—from excavation to finishing—meets our rigorous quality standards. Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily on-site construction activities to ensure compliance with engineering drawings and project specifications.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and site laborers to maintain project momentum.
- Monitor material usage and equipment performance to minimize waste and optimize efficiency.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports to the Project Manager.
- Resolve technical issues and site-based conflicts promptly to prevent project delays.
- Ensure all construction work meets the required quality benchmarks and regulatory standards.

- Advanced proficiency in reading and interpreting technical blueprints and engineering drawings.
- Strong leadership and team management skills to direct diverse site crews.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities to address unforeseen site challenges.
- Comprehensive knowledge of construction safety regulations and site management protocols.
- Effective communication skills in English for reporting and coordination.
- Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Education
A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline is mandatory. Candidates must possess a deep understanding of structural mechanics, soil mechanics, and construction materials.
Experience
Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years of proven experience in site supervision or construction management, preferably within large-scale infrastructure or commercial building projects. Experience working in East Africa or similar developing environments is highly advantageous.
Salary
The monthly salary for this position ranges from 850,000 SSP to 1,200,000 SSP, depending on the candidate’s experience and technical expertise. This is a competitive package designed to attract top-tier engineering talent.
