Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Humanitarian Aid Coordinator to join our team in Juba, South Sudan. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating humanitarian aid efforts, ensuring effective and efficient delivery of assistance to affected populations. This is a critical role that requires strong coordination, communication, and analytical skills.

The Humanitarian Aid Coordinator will work closely with stakeholders, including government agencies, UN organizations, NGOs, and donors, to ensure that humanitarian responses are aligned with needs and priorities. Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate humanitarian aid efforts, ensuring effective and efficient delivery of assistance to affected populations
  • Work closely with stakeholders, including government agencies, UN organizations, NGOs, and donors, to ensure that humanitarian responses are aligned with needs and priorities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, UN representatives, and NGO leaders
  • Analyze and report on humanitarian trends, issues, and concerns
  • Develop and implement humanitarian response plans and strategies

Required Skills

  • Strong coordination, communication, and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong understanding of humanitarian principles and coordination mechanisms
  • Experience working in South Sudan or similar environments

Education

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as international relations, humanitarian studies, or a related field.

Experience

At least 5 years of experience in humanitarian aid, coordination, or a related field.

Salary

The salary range for this position is SSP 50,000 – 80,000 per month.
